How much is PTA membership?
Current Membership dues for the 2026 - 2027 school year are:
Standard Membership: $12
Student Membership: $10
Teacher & Staff Membership: $12
Business Membership: $30
Every membership helps support our students, teachers, programs, events, and school community.

When does the Shaw Avenue PTA meet?
PTA meetings are held throughout the school year and are a great way to stay informed, hear what’s happening, share ideas, and connect with other Shaw Avenue families.
Meeting dates, times, and details are posted on our Events Calendar and shared through school communications.
You are always welcome to attend, but meeting attendance is not required to be a PTA member.
If I join the PTA, am I required to attend meetings or volunteer?
Not at all!
Becoming a PTA member does not require you to attend meetings, volunteer, or commit to a certain number of hours.
We love when our families are able to participate, but we understand that everyone has different schedules and availability.
Whether you volunteer regularly, attend an occasional event, or simply become a member, your support matters.
Who can join the PTA?
Anyone who wants to support Shaw Avenue and our students is welcome to join!

Can students become PTA members?
Yes!
Students can become PTA members too. Student membership is $10 for the school year.
It’s a fun way for our Panthers to be part of the organization that helps support their school.
Can teachers and staff join the PTA?
Absolutely!
We encourage our Shaw Avenue teachers and staff to join. Teacher & Staff Membership is $12.
Our PTA is strongest when families, teachers, staff, and the school community work together.
Can grandparents or other family members join?
Of course!
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, caregivers, and other family members are all welcome to become PTA members.
PTA membership is an easy way for extended family members to show their support for Shaw Avenue and our students.
Can businesses join the PTA?
Yes!
We welcome local businesses and community partners who would like to support the Shaw Avenue PTA.
Business Membership is $30 for the school year.
I joined last year. Am I still a member?
PTA memberships are renewed each school year.
If you were a member last year, we would love to have you join us again for 2026–2027!
