 Dear Parents,
Welcome to the new school year. My name is Leeann Pollard and I am the Box Tops for Education™ Coordinator at Shaw Avenue School. Box Tops for Education™ is a school earnings program that helps schools acquire cash to buy the things they need. Box Tops are each worth 10¢ for schools and are found on hundreds of products. When students, families, schools and communities work together to collect Box Tops, the money adds up fast. Our Box Tops goal for the 2017/2018 period is $2,000. This money will be used to sponsor school related events and supplies. For example, benches for the school courtyard, supplies for an elevated garden, playground equipment, games and other school supplies. We can earn even more cash this school year with your help. Here are a few ways you can help the school reach that goal: • Clip Box Tops and return them to our school, with your child, on the designated Box Top sheets or in envelopes.
